Puppies are a joy and every puppy is cute and cuddly regardless of the breed.

The first question we ask of our prospective owners, is a Welsh Terrier right for you and your family? Unless you’ve had a Welsh to help answer that question we suggest doing some research. Try www.akc.org/breeds/welsh_terrier/index.cfm andwww.yourpurebredpuppy.com. It is preferable that the new owners, individual or family, be familiar with the terrier personality and level of activity.

We hope and strive to place our puppies in loving and caring homes for life. To accomplish this we ask prospective puppy owners to fill out and submit our questionnaire for consideration. Pet puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract and limited AKC Registration (www.akc.org/reg/limitedreg.cfm). Since our breeding is limited and selective we encourage reserving a puppy in advance by submitting the questionnaire with an indication of preferences, male or female, show or pet, and a holding deposit. Both Ivy and Olivia earned their AKC Championships and will be bred in 2010. We are planning to breed them at their next breeding cycle. Olivia’s cycle will likely be first. The selection of a potential stud dog is a science and a very difficult decision for a caring breeder. We are considering a number of high quality stud dogs that are healthy, good tempered, handsome representatives of Welsh type and have the genes to produce exceptional puppies. Both of our girls have proven their breed conformation in national show competition and have multiple Terrier Group placements. They are not just “show dogs”; at home, they are sweet and love to cuddle. We are sure they will make good moms.FLASH: Olivia came into heat and has been bred to Ch Marydale’s Limited Edition 12/23/09. Puppies are expected in late February

Our Breeding Philosophy
We are hobby breeders that believe in breeding a healthy puppy with great temperament and conformation. As members of the Welsh Terrier Club of America we believe in and follow its code of ethics, policies and guidelines. We will always strive to produce a superior puppy that is true to the Welsh standard, great looking, great temperament, healthy, happy, spunky and a joy to have as a friend and companion. We assure our puppy owners that we will assist them in any reasonable way for the life of the puppy. Our guarantee is that we will replace any puppy we have bred in its first year should there be a genetic defect or a temperament issue that prevents the puppy from being a good pet.

And if everything else fails we will always be open for re-homing our pups regardless of the issue or age, no questions asked.
